| A Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is a device designed to remove diesel particulate matter (PM) or soot, from the exhaust of diesel engines. Diesel particulate filters can remove roughly 85% of the soot found in diesel emissions and can at times, depending on the filter and other equipment it is paired with can attain 100% soot removal efficiencies. |
| Diesel-powered Gensets and Dynamic UPS which are equipped with a DPF emit no visible emissions from the exhaust pipe and far less harmful not only to the environment, but to the general health of those in the vicinity of the running Gensets and Dynamic UPS. |

| Combifilter is an integrated particulate filter and silencer, which typically removes > 90% of diesel particulate (PM) from engine exhaust. The filtered particles (soot) are stored in the filter until the pre-set limit is reached, and trigger the process of filter regeneration automatically. The V and K model regenerate on 6-8 hours and the S model regenerates on 40 minutes. The Combifilter is well tested and constantly developed. |
| The Combifilter is using SIC (Silicon Carbide) filter substrate which can be heat resisted up to 2,000 ℃. The electrical heater is provided for regeneration at site, which is independent of exhaust temperature and engine duty cycles as traditional design of Catalyzed filter, that relies on high exhaust temperature for filter regeneration. The remove of traditional design filter for kiln regeneration is not required that lots of maintenance cost and resource can be reduced. |
| The Combifilter can be further combined with an AZ diesel oxidation catalyst for the reduction of the gaseous pollutants CO and HC. The AZ catalyst can either be built into the filter outlet or mounted separately upstream of the filter. The filter replaces the original silencer and is installed, horizontally or vertically, on a suitable place on the exhaust pipe of Gensets or Dynamic UPS. |
